The questions procurement teams actually ask us before they place an order, including the ones where the honest answer is “it depends” or “we do not have that”.
Where a figure genuinely varies by product, we say so instead of publishing a number we could not hold. Where the industry has a working range, we give you the range and mark it as an industry range, not a Paragon claim. If your question is not here, send it to us. 01: Commercial
Ordering, payment and delivery
Minimums, timing, samples, terms and shipping, the five things a buyer needs settled before a specification is worth writing.
What is your minimum order quantity?
Our minimum order quantity varies by category. A plain white terry towel in a construction we already run and a private-label bed set with your own woven label, dyed to a Pantone reference, do not carry the same minimum, so a single site-wide figure would be wrong for most enquiries, and we do not publish one.
Tell us the product, the size and the quantity you are working towards. The minimum for that item is confirmed with your quotation.
How long does a bulk order take to produce and deliver?
Production and dispatch time is confirmed per order, in writing, with the quotation. It moves with the construction, the quantity, whether the shade is white or cream from stock or matched to a Pantone reference, and the finishing, labelling and packing you need: white from stock and dyed-to-match private label are not the same job.
We do not publish a number of days, because a figure we could hold for one product would mislead you on another. If you have a fixed in-service date: an opening, a season, a Hajj group departure. Send it with the enquiry and we will tell you plainly whether it is achievable before you commit.
Can I order samples before placing a bulk order?
Yes. Samples are available on request, and we recommend them for anything you intend to buy repeatedly.
Send us the specification, or the piece you buy today, and tell us what you want to judge: hand feel, absorbency, the shade against your standard, the label, the packing, and how the piece behaves after a trial in your own laundry. Sample charges, freight and timing are confirmed when we reply.
We answer enquiries and sampling requests within 24-48 hours.
What are your payment terms?
30% advance, 70% before pick-up. That is our documented commercial term, and it is the same one printed on our quotations.
Currency, payment method and the documentation that accompanies an export shipment are agreed in writing with the quotation and the proforma invoice.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We supply buyers outside Pakistan and we work to the Incoterm that suits your route.
We do not operate a single default term. Whether the goods move ex-works from Islamabad, FOB from a Pakistani port, CIF or DDP to yours, and which port of loading is used: is agreed with you per order and written into the quotation. Send the destination city or port with your enquiry and we will quote against it.

Specifying towels and bed linen
The numbers below are the industry’s working vocabulary, published so you can brief us accurately. They are not claims about Paragon goods.
What GSM should I choose for hotel towels?
GSM, grams per square metre, is the weight of a towel per unit of area, and it is the most useful single number in a towel specification. Heavier towels feel more substantial and hold more water; they also cost more to buy, cost more to launder and take longer to dry. The right answer is usually the lightest towel that still meets the guest expectation of the property.

Specify the hand towel and washcloth against the bath towel rather than choosing each on its own, and check the weight your laundry can dry economically before you fix it.
What thread count is best for hotel bed sheets?
Thread count is the number of warp and weft threads in a square inch of cloth. In hotel bed linen the useful working band is narrow, and the tiers below are the ones the industry actually specifies and buys.

Real five-star house standard is around 300 TC single-ply. Above roughly 600, the count is almost always reached with multi-ply yarn: thinner strands twisted together and counted individually, so a four-figure count on a label is a marketing number rather than a finer sheet. Specify single-ply yarn and a count within the band above, and ignore anything higher as a quality signal.
What is the difference between percale and sateen?
It is the weave, not the fibre. Percale is a one-over-one plain weave: each weft thread passes over one warp thread and under the next. The result is matte, crisp and cool, and it is what most housekeeping teams mean when they say a hotel sheet.
Sateen is a four-over-one weave: the weft floats over four warp threads before passing under one. Those floats catch the light, so sateen is lustrous, heavier in the hand and softer to sleep on; the same exposed floats are what make it more prone to snagging.
Satin stripe sits between the two: a percale ground with woven sateen stripes, and it is the look most hotel bed sets are specified in. Choose percale for warm climates and crisp presentation, sateen for a softer and more residential feel, satin stripe when you want the hotel signature.

Can you produce private-label textiles with our brand label and packing?
Yes. Your brand deserves fabrics that reflect precision, consistency, and uncompromised quality. At Paragon, every thread is designed to uphold your reputation, not just ours.
We manufacture to your specification and finish to your identity: your woven or printed brand label, your size and care labelling, your carton marking and your retail pack. Do you make Ihram in custom sizes for Hajj groups?
Yes. Our Ihram is a two-piece unstitched set: izar (waist wrap) and rida (shoulder drape), in 100% cotton. Commonly supplied around 110 × 220 cm (approx. 43 × 87 in) per piece; sizes vary by maker and are confirmed on order. Typical industry range

What fabrics are used for hospital linen and how do they handle industrial laundering?
Institutional linen is usually specified as a polyester-cotton blend rather than as 100% cotton. The polyester carries strength and dimensional stability through repeated high-temperature washing and heated finishing; the cotton carries absorbency and comfort against skin. As a rule across the category, the more polyester in the blend the better the piece holds its size and finish and the faster it dries, and the more cotton in the blend the more comfortable and absorbent it feels against a patient. That is how the category is specified across the industry; it is not a tested claim about our goods.
Industrial laundering is harder on cloth than domestic laundering: higher temperatures, stronger chemistry, mechanical extraction and heated finishing, and the usual specification response is that blend, plus a tight construction, generous hems, reinforced stitching at the stress points and a fabric weight chosen for the cycle rather than for the showroom.

Are your lab coats and scrubs available in custom colours with embroidery?
Yes. Lab coats, scrub sets and staff uniforms are made to your sizing and your cut, and we apply your identity by embroidery or print: chest logo, name, department, or a badge on the sleeve.

04: Compliance & company
Certification, and where we are
The two questions we would rather answer head-on than let you discover later.
Are you certified to OEKO-TEX, ISO or GOTS?
No. Paragon Textile Company holds no certification that it can publish, not OEKO-TEX, not ISO, not GOTS, and we would rather tell you here than let you find out during an audit. We were established in 2023 and we are a young manufacturer; a mark we could not evidence would be worth nothing to you.
What we offer instead is the thing a certificate is a proxy for. At Paragon Textile, production is guided by defined protocols, quality controls, and measurable benchmarks. Our processes are structured to meet international sourcing and compliance requirements. Fibre selection, weaving and knitting, finishing, stitching and packing sit under one roof, so the second order can be held to the first, and every specification is written down and approved against a sample before bulk production starts.
